Yesterday, the Convento Corpus Christi in V.N.Gaia set the stage for a memorable event, featuring the special participation of João Albuquerque, Member of the European Parliament, and André Matos, University Professor.
We delved into crucial topics for the future of Europe:
- Priorities on the European agenda, with challenges and objectives outlined for a promising path.
- Reflections on Europe’s role in the global scene, exploring the theme of a potential European army.
- Addressed Employment and Social Rights, highlighting the impact of unpaid internships and the importance of a European directive on quality internships.
- Migration and asylum policies, analyzing strategies for a more inclusive future.
- Active involvement of young people in political and social life, aiming to inspire and strengthen the voice of the youth.
In the second part of the event, we enjoyed “A Toast with Europa XXI,” a relaxed moment of networking and interaction among speakers and participants. We raised our glasses to the success of the event, indulging in the tasting of wines and local products, further enriching the experience.
